Art Experience begins a yearlong celebration of 25 years in business with a showing of artwork by artist Herb Lucas. The show, titled "Nature's gifts" will be shown during the month of January, with a special reception for the artist on Saturday, January 19th from 2-4 in the afternoon.

Herb Lucas travels the coastline, hills and valleys of Northern New England in search of scenery that inspires him to masterfully put oil on canvas. Fishing boats in autumn and winter, and relics in fields are among some of Herb's popular paintings featuring subtle, yet extraordinary detail. We all discover through Herb's work the many gifts that Nature has to offer not only with autumn's vibrant colors, but in weathered wood shelters that provide warmth on cold days, logs that offer resting places for the tired, tasty fish from the sea, crisp apples to eat, and overfolowing maple syrup buckets.
